feb 7th (YOU ALL HAVE TO COME TO THIS ONE!)
at the litter box! yes that is right, we are having a show/party after a long while, but don't expect more!
w/ the coughs (awesome noisey chicago band. sax, noise guitar, distorted bass lines, two drummers playing barrels and pots and pans, yelly kind of vocals.... a lot fun, trust me), and! perfect weiners and butts (sam/jimmie jeffrey, kerry davis, and leahhhhh) this is going to be such an awesome time. we really want to make sure it goes smoothly, so if the cold still doesn't keep you in the house, don't go outside anyway! i repeat, stay inside. try to park somewhere away from our house if you can too, so the neighbors don't complain. there will be some decorating happening and possible themes, i'll update more later. also, we only want it 3 bands, so that's it, 3 bands already. tell people about it, spread the word, and the love.

To clear something up it was I, Jami Thompson, not an employee of Ambassador Roller Rink who kindly asked everyone to "go the fuck home!" last night. Here's the breakdown of the $833 brought in, for legitimacy's sake:

If you were there you know how fun it was. Thanks to everyone who came out, Happy Party, The Dusk, Like Tigers, the Sick Lipstick, An Albatross, Vince for continued use of his PA (get better!), Johnny and Jeff of Le Jolie Rouge for microphones (Johnny you might want to use some Oxy pads on that mic. I saw it go down Eddie's pants quite of few times), and most of all my door helpers - Betty, Elizabeth, Carrie, Amanda Martin, and Alex.
